I've been a good boy Santa.

That’s great Chas. Good find.
Lynn had her Hen night at a place that did this (minus white stuff) in Bognor and had a blast.

Many many years ago I belonged to ECRA, the Electric Car Racing Association (model cars that is) and every week I used to go to this shop in Southall where we had a track built in the back, I had about five different cars one of which was a dragster (the only one I kept when I gave up) we had a Santa Pod type track about 60ft long (it was a big shop) and my model would go down there with the front wheels in the air, the contact guide was on a drop-away arm the kept the brushes in contact, we worked out its scale speed at 220mph. If I can remember where it is now I'll post a picture.

There's a place in Northwood or ruislip that has an 8 lane track. Went there for someone's birthday. It was great fun and.....

Cool, used to love my Scalextric... it was Coopers, Vanwalls and Brabhams in my day, and later I had a Mini Cooper S when I saved up my pocket money.

A brilliant toy for both sexes and all ages ....

Ah... memories....

My brother had a loop with two mini coopers (I think) chicane at each end and the minis would spin round and we'd end up with head on collisions. Brilliant fun. We inherited absolutely loads from other places but the metal bits were all a bit rusty so It didn't work very well. When inwas old enough to figure out it just needed rubbing down a bit I asked my dad where it all was..... bloody gave it all away. Heart broken.

 Well done Nick, it's not as easy as it looks to keep them on the track is it? Our track was only six lanes, very twisty at one end with a Brooklands type banking at the other end separated by two long straights.
