    A Christmas rear bumper

Finally go the ARB bumper I was hoping for.. thanks to @karl webster for parting company with it and @fbnss for providing a third pair of hands / regular rounds of freshly brewed tea throughout the day. I think the rear end looks the mutts now... especially with the colour matched gray-on-gray!

    Looking for a roof tent

Have you had a good look at the TT stuff @Bert ? JMO but the material they use seems to let a lot of daylight in when compared to the HM. That's a big deal for a fella like me who enjoys a lie in or a midday nap in black-hole darkness.

    Roof racks for 100 series

Correct me if I'm wrong Nick but they had 3 options for extending your FR rack, was it 100, 200 and 300mm?

@grantw thats good news bud, would be great if you could post some pics when it comes through. Did they give you any idea of delivery times?

    Lithium battery install

Don't believe everything you read. They may very well have provided all that gear to one of their customers but that wasn't me. @fbnss will confirm that setup looks nothing like mine which is still "temporarily" mounted to the side of my drawers. That said, I did buy my manager 30 from PPT and...

    A Christmas rear bumper

thats a very good question @grantw, I didn't think I'd be spoilt for choice but thanks to some great responses from the forum I clearly am! Top of the list so far are the fabryka 4x4 and the powerful 4x4. Im going to try and get in touch with the folks over at opony and see of they'd be able to...

Thank you all for your contributions, and apologies for my tardy response.. a bit hard to type with an ale in one hand and a mince pie in the other :) @Michael Clark would be great to have a pic of the fabryka rear bumper, also do you have a contact I could reach out to at opony4x4?

any chance of a couple of pics @froggy Steve ? Always good to get a real world view of the finished article as opposed to those glossy brochure images.

    A Christmas rear bumper

Yes mate, it would be unfair for me not to mention that I have seen first hand the specialist 4x4 front bumper take on a boulder and win! I don't think my ARB would have taken a hit where yours did and leave with nothing more that a graze to the paint job.

    A Christmas rear bumper

That is quite high praise @Michael Clark and it sounds like your happy with the fitment and quality . Would you mind throwing some picks up of your particular setup? That does look verywell made @Mojo and thank you for the picture. I think it was them that someone here had trouble making...

@nick_the_fish I too like the look of the ARB, and having seen Karls in the flesh it is an impressive thing. @Jacob100 thats a new one to me so thank you. How far did you get with your conversation and was there anything that put you off moving forward? @kingtom those look great and the...

    A Christmas rear bumper

I think @stan would agree that that is an understatement. @GeekOKent, I thought about that but recall a thread where people had quite a hard time making contact with them which, after my AFN experience, I'd rather avoid.

    A Christmas rear bumper

@willthompson thank you! that is exactly the sort of response I was hoping for. I have not come across K2 before but having had a quick squiz of their fb page they do look to make some impressive stuff. To answer your question, no id didn't go the WC but the issue was with AFN kicking the...

    A Christmas rear bumper

Hello folks, I hope this post finds you well and on the wind down to Christmas. After doing some googling last night I came across one or two options I hadn’t seen...

Cheapest diesel night heater on eBay test / review

@fbnss just catching up... I decided that for £127 quid it would be worth a punt. While I haven't tested mine extensively first impressions are pretty good. It does what it says on the tin, sips of diesel in - nice hot air out The controller is relatively easy to use Error code list imply it...

Howdy Dave et al Some stunning photos of one mint looking 80 on your website... very cool! Also loving the clever tessellation of your logo on the "ceiling storage rack", your designer deserves a pat on the back for that touch

Intervolt DCC Pro DC DC split charge system

Recard manager 30... its not without its flaws. As you well know @fbnss its huge! and not weatherproof which means it needs to be tucked away some place nice and cosy inside the cab. That said, I selected it from the range approved for use by the battery manufacturer and they work...
