As above I'm organising a weekend of camping and laning in the yorkshire Dale's and moors. Camping will be at Sentry circle campsite near northallerton. It's £11.50 per night per adult kids £2.50 per night. There are hot showers and toilets on site. Owner has offered me a field to ourselves. I...
Hi all. Going to be putting this on again this year. Same place Evveretts farm campsite. Arrive Friday, there will be some laning on Saturday, not very testing for those who wish to participate. Leave Sunday if you wish or stay on its up to you. Hot showers and toilets on site. Well behaved dogs...
I had a 1hz in an 80 series a few years back. It was my first big cruiser coming from a 70 series and it was an auto too. I towed regularly with it 16 ft ifor Williams with a vehicle on it and I've got to say it didn't seem too bad. Low end was very torqey and just used to let it do it's own...
Saw exactly this in action yesterday. Was out with a group on the local lanes. Came to a little washout which we drove on the may laning trip in Norfolk. James pootled through in his Colly, we ambled up in the 80,(no vc) both high range open centre. Look back and the discovery 3/4 following were...
I need the driver aid in my motors,or id just drive into the back of every car, break too late ,fail to park properly, don't look where I'm meant to be going or pay enough attention. But sometimes I just go out for a drive and leave her at home.
Table is booked for 6.45pm. I'm heading over after lunch and will find something to do or probably have a couple of pints in the afternoon. All welcome to join or arrive at your leisure. Cheers Gav

If oil levels are correct second thing to check would be solenoid packs in the gearbox. Could also be a dodgy torque converter. Both would require some mechanical investigation. Oil is normally the culprit to be fair. Fairly robust boxes in these.
There is a correct procedure for checking gearbox oil. First get the box up to running temp. Hot not just warmed up. You should then cycle between reverse and drive for a few seconds and only then will you get the correct oil level reading. Apologies if you are already aware of this.
