Very certain you'll have to take the roof lining down to get the assembly out. Mine does work, but I'm scared it'll get stuck open, so generally leave it closed. Plus the roof rack is above it so dont get much light in and the aircon works very well!

I'd be surprised if the diff needs to be replaced. More likely a rebuild. But I'd imagine there would be noticeable noise and lash in the system if it was that bad.

Had a look on partsouq and all the available part numbers for ABS sensors I could find were not available any more. You might have to try and find some working second hand ones. Are yours both definitely broken?

Yes true, few of the fails are things you'd hope would have been picked up before MOT time, rather than relying on it to pick up on what's wrong.

I think its unlikely, relays normally are reliable. You are getting power at the horn when you press the button but it's not working? Either the horn is faulty or you dont have a good ground. Check that your earth is being made.

@BRE Fabrications LTD off this forum, and based in the UK will make (certainly used to offer) the long range tanks that sit in the middle of the chassis, replacing the original one.

Have you given power directly to the horn itself to verify it's working?

Yes, that's what I'm not so keen about is the ones that hang down loads at the back, look like they are asking for trouble. Plus a load of weight where it's really not needed all behind the axle.
