If this is the variant which has the semi floating axle and the 4 sp gearbox, just note that there are about 40,000 of these in service across south east Asia, and we're sold new till 1999, and then manufactured on contract till 2014.
W.r.t the 250 numbers, what Toyota ( Steven Eagell ) are saying is that the sales books never opened. Enough people put down £1000 pre sales unseen commitment that they had a private lottery and just allocated the UK quota for 2024 and 2025 to those people and still have a waiting list.
Not many of these left in the UK, in an industry ow dominated by scan, replace, fit. No uncommon to find workshops dontnl have the necessary equipment to disassemble and test.
If you can find someone, don't let them go.
The G015 are not crazy aggressive but they do okay in tracks and on grass as a general AT tyre. It performed much better than the Dunlop AT20 that the 90/120 land cruisers were sold with.
Plenty of people have been around the world and over the backwaters on the g015, so I won't discount it.
Have you considered a moderate tyre like the Yokohama Geolander g015 or the Falken Wildpeak AT3w ? I have had good success with both of these on the 120, with moderate track use and mostly tarmac.
