I dont remember my 54 plate 120 having one, i think i just used to get a red light on the dash.

Yep i look after a few oil boilers that are running on gas oil. and the filters have had to be changed more frequently. A black type of sludge.

If it was me, i would keep it standard, put the money towards a new radiator and you know it will be good for many more years, you also have peace of mind that the engine is getting cooled with a free flowing new radiator. They are so easy to change too.

I have a bosch 18v multi tool and use it with success all the time. My dad has the ryobi version and this has also been used a fair bit and no problems.

I have the Pirelli scorpion AT+ on the Amarok. Only been on the truck a couple of weeks. Not any noisier than the continentals that were on it. And seem stable on the wet icy roads. I havnt had a chance to try them out off road yet.

When i had my Collie i dropped the ATF out ( i had no problems its was just part of me wanting all fluids changed) it was a fairly dark red/brown, but never a silver look:screamcat: I would drop the oil again and inspect, i think you know its box change time!!!

Not teaching you to suck eggs, but how are you checking the auto box level? are you checking with the engine running? Did you change the auto box filter when changing the oil?

I did this on my 120, i got all the bits from rough traxs using genuine parts. The bolts that hold the sump on are made of chocolate so give them a soak before attempting, and some of the bolts are tight to get at. be prepared when you free the sump for a couple more litres to be hiding in it...
