Welcome to near London, that's a nice collection of Land Cruisers you have. Unfortunately Land Cruiser mechanics are a bit thin on the ground in the south east, it may be better to search out an old school mechanic who understands the older technology that is a 40.

An unfortunate experience, I hope it all comes good for you in the end. Re not being mobile enough to be able to view 80s, I'd consider buying a cheap car to get you on the road, it'll start the insurance and allow you travel to view 80s. Viewing 80s will always involve a fair bit of travel...

Ex One life adventure 80 series? If it is, it's certainly a well travelled 80, but it wouldn't worry me as it will have been maintained to a high standard as it was a vital tool to the business. IIRC Julian at Overland Cruisers did a lot of the maintenance on that truck. Welcome by the way...

The 105 has a genuine Toyota one that was fitted when I bought it. It's transparent with Land Cruiser lettering on it. Fitment is very good, it doesn't move about and hasn't marked the paint. Age and some mistreatment are starting to get to it, but it looks good and I plan to keep it fitted...

That's what they look like after a life time under the back of the 80, all the road grime, grit and salt just sits on it. I coated mine in silicon grease to protect it. It's worth service the chain winch as well, they get such little use. Refurbished wheel looks good.
