Yes it's in a bit of a bowl so protected from the wind to some degree, was still windy when we were there, had to put a wind shield by the cooker for brewing up :)

Just done the annual C2C with Lowrangers and had a ball :) We do this each year, this year we did it East to West and included going up sheepwash if anyone wanted ( most went round lol ) 3 days of laning and having a good laugh along the way...

Well today was a new rear diff seal as leaking, the breather had blocked and when it got heated up at steady 70mph blew oil everywhere, cleared breather but still leaking so put a new seal in today so let's see if that cures it

Fuel is a known measurement but the mileage is the dependant on accuracy of the speedo so if standard it could be 10% out in over reading so would make 30mpg only 27mpg, just a thought lol

Only one that might be 'interesting' is sheep wash Osmotherley, only done it downhill and be going up this time ( or attempting to ) some vids on u-tube, but this can be missed out if necessary lol

I'll be doing it this time in a 80 as you describe, last 2 times I did it in my disco ( all being running 35's and double lockers ) can't see any problems along route as have done the lakes part in the cruiser already
