I have cleaned the inhibitor switch connector loom, with contact cleaner but my P light is still out. I can start the car with out any issue. Check the bulb behind the cluster but it is ok. ??

Thanks @Buller, yeah stock in Roughtrax is back! But managed to get the old head skimmed as it’s not cracked. Just some lower spots between cylinder 2 & 3 and cylinder 3 & 4.

My Prado TX 1996 has a stick central diff engagement, not a button one. I have never seen an electronic button central diff in a 90 series. A photo of your Prado if don’t mind?

I did ring around last year for OEM radiator hoses from dealers in the UK, and their prices were a lot more than Amayama. I am talking more than double or more. Normal Amayama price including postage is a fair bit cheaper than dealer here. Just a bit of waiting time….

Was talking to my colleague today and he said he always mixes half a gallon of petrol into a full tank of diesel in his 2010 LR Freelander. It helps clean the fuel filter a bit and it improved his MPG by 10%. Anyone tries this on Toyota Diesel engines?

Cheers, so the 120 nozzles are also the old “stream” one? What landcruiser model comes with the modern type? Or these nozzle are the same across Toyota?

Anyone upgrade your windscreen nozzles from the old school “stream” type to a more modern “disperse” type? Is it a matter of swapping the nozzle head with a later cruiser part from those from the 120 series?

Good job there @AndycruiserguyLomas to get this swap to work. I look at this a few years ago, but didn’t go ahead due to complexity. Any photos of the mods you did to the base of the middle bench, to get this to work?

The full bench pre 99 ones slide on runners so you adjust it back and forth. The split seats ones have front hinges that you can “rotate” to move the seat away to get to the 3rd row. So the way you fix it, can you still slide your middle bench?

@AndycruiserguyLomas, are you swapping a pre 1999 VX seats into a post 2000 GX Colorado? Pre 1999 ones are with full bench seat in the middle and the 2000 onwards has 60/40 split seats in the middle row.

Mixed coolant and ATF appears pink in colour if I am not wrong from reading online stuff.

Good to know, keep an eye on the coolant level over the next few days… Toyota cooling system sometime takes a few warm engine runs to bleed properly. You might still need to top up.

Happy to report that I have sorted my Driver side heated seat loom wiring, the wiring loom that came with the car only had 2 wires in the plug but my heated seat (swapped in) plug has 4 wires. Turn out that Toyota only run the 2 missing wires from the centre console up to the driver kick panel...
