    tyres/ lift / spacers Kzj70

I have 285s on a 2" lift with -50 offset wheels and zero rubbing, could probably get away with smaller offset, try raptor4x4, they sell lift kits, I had ironman on mine but eventually changed the rear spring and shocks all round as they sagged like fook

    An Ultra slow Ultra4 build

Yep that's the gearbox, the transfer box should have its own code, not a clue what it is though but this place sells them http://www.marks4wd.com/low-range-overdrive-gears/low-range-gears/toyota.html Pricy though :O

    Landcruiser lj70 [creepycruiser]

Good luck, I will eventually go with a cross over set up like yours, I'm pretty sure the panhard rod will have to be moved back so have been looking into aftermarket panhards for Jeep jks, they are bent to clear the diff pumpkin so would be possible to mount it quite a bit further back than...

    Raptor4x4 now in the u.k

Same actually, the radius arms look pretty sweet, I've got castor bushes but would much prefer to run standard bushes and the correction in the arms, tempted at the HD steering arms aswell

    Raptor4x4 now in the u.k

This company was originally only in Portugal but now they have a u.k website and sell some pretty cool goodies for lj/kzj70s http://www.raptor4x4.co.uk/toyota-professional-4x4-off-road-parts-kzj-lj-70-landcruiser/toyota-professional-4x4-off-road-parts-land-cruiser.html Never ordered from them...

Don't see many of these - HJ75 Pickup

  23. H

    Part needed

Round or square headlight? On my kzj70 the front and rear props are exactly the same and I've swapped them round a few times, good for getting out of a bad situation

    Rear disc brake conversion idea

Doesn't the hand brake have to have a manual linkage? Pretty sure your not allowed hydraulic, Ben's got a pretty good write up with his using Subaru calipers

    LJ70 Build Thread!

Trucks with my dad at the mo, the rear anti roll bar is a lot different to the front, it follows the shape of the axle bolting onto the back of the axle radius arm mounts
  28. H

    LJ70 Build Thread!

If you want ultimate on road handling the rear anti roll bar off a lj78/kzj78 will bolt up to your rear axle and all you need to mod is the drop link chassis mounts which is just 2 holes each side  I'm running one on mine with front removed and its tight so with both it would be like a...

    Terrain Tamer Suspension.

Very interesting, still have the iron man on the front but have new ome's on the back so no need for springs but I'm thinking they will be going on my truck once the back starts sagging

    Landcruiser lj70 [creepycruiser]

You would be surprised at how much weight is pressing down on that tyre, it will most of the time have enough traction to get you through what your doing, especially vs not enough flex, also makes it a lot more stable, as a comparison my mate had a vid of a truck with little articulation and...

Door cills are solid apart from the rear where the arches used to overlap and trap mud so rather than just replace the little bit I did box section cills/sliders, also welded up the wheel arch flare holes and set fire to the interior lol

Tyre porn!!!!!!!! Took a gamble on these relatively unheard of tyres, they are lakesea xterains, they are 35 10.50 16 and measure 34.5" tall with 18mm tread depth

    hairyguy's kzj70 build

I reckon they are under less stress as they don't have to deal with stopping the axle from rotating now, I've had no problems at all Went to slab common with a few mates, the hilux is 4 link rear with fedima 37s and twin arbs, the four track is 3 link a frame rear with insa turbos and welded...

Yep, have 10" travel shocks at the most but could squeeze 12" travel under with lowered bump stops, also wasn't happy with the shock hitting the spring while flexing Pics are terrible
