    Part number request please...

04371-36030 is the part number for Universal joints. This part number replaces 04371-36020 and 04371-36021. You could just go to your local auto parts store and request them. That is what I did when I replaced my U-joints. If you want original Toyota U-joints you can order them from this link...

    Break Problems

Also, this problem was not all of a sudden, It happend a couple of times, then went back to normal. Then last night was the coup de gras (not sure on the spelling of that phrase). I had new tires put on it this morning, and the tire shop thought it was a brake booster as well.

    Break Problems

Brakes are rock hard while off, and while at idle, and while cranking the engine. They never get soft at all now. I looked for a loose or faulty vacuum line, but everything looked right. I also tripped an O2 sensor. I guess I will be chasing gremlins for a while.

    Break Problems

While driving the LC to work tonight I had a terrible thing happen. I went to apply the break, all is normal, then as I get close to stopping the break pedal goes hard as a rock and I loose most of my stopping power. I assumed an issue with the break booster, and I still do. Any thoughts on this...

Love the thread! I want a snorkel on my 80 as well, but I have other little fixes to take care of first.

Well I just realized I can't post pictures yet! But I have found the part and fixed the A/C! Super excited about that. Does any one know where to find some pocket style fender flares?

I bought my 97 LC FJ80 from a lady who had wrecked it in a ditch in the snow this winter. Nothing major had to be fixed; headlights, windshield, and AC. So far the headlights were easy, the windshield was $250 dollars, but the AC is a problem. When the lady put the LC in the ditch, it snapped...
