Import 200 series from Japan to UK

I miss my 80, but Mrs Womble doesn't - so i am seriously considering a 200 series import from Japan. Partly to get one that is low on corrosion and partly because UK prices are a bit keen at the moment. Does anyone have any general advice on buying a 200 in the UK or on importing from Japan...

    Wheely big favour

I want to take my wheels off to get them sand blasted and power coated. Is there anyone in the London area that could lend me a set while i get it done? 15" or 16" seem to fit fine. Word to the wise, the spare wheel gets an absolute pasting on long sections of gravel. I will be putting a...

As has been mentioned disconnecting the battery (batteries) is always a priority and i know that without a spanner mine are not coming off in a hurry. I always planned, but have never installed, isolating switches. Has anyone else?

So i finally decided to install my reversing camera and screen. However I just couldn't decide how to power it. Most of my other accessories are run straight from the battery, but this is only low draw so it could tap into something else. All i need it an ignition switched 12v source. Any...

Interior light in the cargo area for 80 Series

Dave 2000, that's exactly what i did. They are cheap and bright and cut to length, but the soldering was a real pain as there is only a very small contact area. I had lots left over, so run it the length of the awning as well, which we don't use very often, but works well...
