Sorry cant read the post?
No joy with cruiser parts
Was going to have one made but the US has no thin flat glass to make one, all to thick so original is best bet.
Cheers
Looking for a sock glass for my Australian 1982 FJ45 left door (pass side). Door has a wing vent so it would be the more square style glass. Just need the one without scratches and no chips in the surface or corners.
See picture.
In the US so will pay the shipping.
PM me
Thanks
Yes I would of thought also that I could have one made but as of now and after contacting three of the primer radiators shops in the US, none have even returned anything. Not that easy trust me seems as no one localy eve wants to work with me on this, so looking for new.
I have a 1982 Fj45 from NSW Australia and it is a real bad radiator that needs to be replace. Found out that the radiator is not the 22" wide standard 40 series but is 23.5" wide as is the core support, it was mad to accommodate a A/C set up. Apparently they installed them in most all 45s even...
Found several sized generic three bolt type,s but yes with out the recess area and they all do not fit the size needed for some of the stock exhaust hangars on some of the Toyota (hole to hole). Also most all are very very thin, hence a $4 flange. The recess is 2mm deep on both sides of the...
Seems this is an Item that just can't be found anywhere. The flanges work much better that the flat type flange/gasket as in sealing. My old flanges are 35 years old and were barely still sealing, just rusted out due to time. Toyota made a good flange with the aid of the round donut gasket...
Has anyone had some of the stock style exhaust flanges with the groove cut in the center for the stock gasket made. Seems as in the US not one can be found. Looking for a set of 4 for a complete exhaust rebuild.
Wow I feel as I just woke up out of a comma - was working to much and web site was down but to all prior the PTO has been completed if not reported before.
Anyone have a 10 spline input shaft from a 3 or 4 speed FJ40/45 transmission that still has good splines.
If so we can use the spline end if cut off from the gear end and is usable.
Give us a post.
Thank you
Well we are doing pretty good so far on the PTO build but still lacking the PTO end slip spline and flange yoke assembly. Anyone have one willing to sell?
Looks like this
Thanks
Update, found a PTO gear box so that is taken care off, now just need the drive line bits from the gear box forward. Any parts or complete even if its a bearing hangar or a yoke or a bent shaft. Just PM me with you information on the part.

Thanks tonytoyota, been a bit of work but she's a keeper. The Police theme was something we put together to put on it for a few car shows when we had a chance.
As posted just need a few more parts for the PTO to make it completes again.
I see you hail from Wrexham, I grew up just up the road...
We are looking for a PTO gearbox (split case type) for a four speed 1982 FJ45. We have all the other trimmings to complete the restore but the correct PTO case. Seems as around 1980 the PTO gearbox changed in its design, the older mount bolt pattern went from an offset pattern to more of a even...
Wanted to share this with some of my fellow 40 series builders. I just finished a FJ45 the first one I ever did in a 45 type. I have had many FJ40s and have done some pretty hard off road driving with them. When it comes to off road driving we know that we can easily acquire small and large...
Hi folks I am just finishing up a full Australian Toyota FJ45 restoration. I am now getting ready to installing the factory PTO winch but to complete this I need a few parts.
The parts needed are the drive shafts with hangars and the PTO gearbox. The gearbox needed is of the 1981 and newer...
Just got a few minutes but thank you for the welcome. I am getting ready to install some FJ60 running gear in the old rig to retrieve a bit more road speed, 4:11 now.
It is used off road a lot but well taken care of when its back home.
Being from Australia the old rig has a history from the...
