G'day, recently purchased a 93 with aftermarket turbo 1hz. Properly tuned the cars only done 200,000. I've been reading and have learned the pistons and big end bearings are somewhat weaker once an after market turbo is bolted on.. I'm looking for advice on what I should do.. The guy...

Alrighty thanks for the feedback, I think I'll replace Springs n shock with 3 inch raw nitromax.. Only problem is ya run the risk of defects unless it's engineered which can be upwards of 1500. Good to know it won't take much to lower though.

Thanks mate, I'm currently confused about which way to go with suspension. Replace yhe old 3 inch with 3 inch Or lower to 2. Decisions decisions

What's involved in lowering lowering? Am I better off replacing the sagged 3 inch with 3 inch suspension? I was thinking of lowering it an inch but would I have to change all the panhard rods and sway bars and cambers?

I believe it's a 2 & 3 the back has no seats. I just asked the bloke and the turbo is a denco cc2, Anyone know what these are like? Aftermarket. . Barn doors it gets compression. Test tomorrow so hope all is good and I'll be picking it up sat..

G'day, after picking up the cruiser the first thing I want to look at doing is a good service and have a look at the big end bearing, how difficult is the beb job? How long should it take. Sorry if this is posted elsewhere.

Gday mate, great idea for a thread. i have a 93 gxl with a 1hz and aftermarket turbo.. What oil and grade do you recommend for *engine *gearbox *diffs .. I'm new to cruisers mate so always open to advise cheers mate

Since doing a vin check I've found out it is a gxl.. Have uploaded pic but they aren't showing yet
