LED Strip with rocker switch wiring

Thanks StarCruiser, great information!! Have spent the last two weeks on other stuff (leaky knuckles and the likes) and have just got back on to this this evening. Have sorted most of the wiring now and done the measurements for the LED strip on the awning. I had enough for 2x 2.5m strips so...

Looks leaky, but not sure what part..

Cant say for sure. I took a look at some old threads to see if I could give a definite confirmation. You're right, it's supposed to be here somewhere, but if you look at these threads they show where it is for 1HD-T for sure...

Looks leaky, but not sure what part..

Ok, while we're at it. Also noticed these concerning sights looking up from underneath on the same side. :( Oh and front passenger AND driver steering knuckles are both leaking (gear oil and knuckle grease combining.. i think) I've no garage pit, no experience or tools to get stuck-In...

Looks leaky, but not sure what part..

Hi All, Bought an 80 about 6 weeks ago and have been going through the motions of getting it into shape. I've noticed what seems to be a slight leak from a part of the engine just above the alternator a little bit higher than the level of the oil filter. The picture is taken 180 degrees from...

LED Strip with rocker switch wiring

Hi All, I installed my awning on my 80 Series a few weeks ago and have decided to put an LED strip along the inner frame of the awning behind where the canopy rolls out. I did a similar job on my old NL Pajero but this time I've decided to do things a bit differently. I've only recently...

Hi All, Can you please help me identify this part on my 80 series? It is located behind my bullbar under the front left of the chassis and is looking very worn. Possible replacing? Ive tried to find it via search engine but havent had any luck. Thank you, Will

    1994 80 Series is mine!

Thanks all! Have given it a very original name "80". Didn't die on the way home from dealership and was told if it plays up just to take it back. Gotta get rid of that roof basket though. Clearance in my carport is limited to 2.2M and it has the roof racks and 2" lift. Ran it on LPG for the 12km...

    E-bay/Amazon tyre pressure gauges?

Hi All, Has anyone purchased tyre pressure gauges online (Ebay/Amazon) and found any good deals and could recommend a product? I've owned an awesome one in the past (sold with my last 4x4) it was quite expensive but id rather go cheaper with good quality this time. Thanks, Will

Need a CB radio for my 80...any recommendations?

I used the same Uniden as Paddler Ed my last rig, it was fantastic and came with a 3dB and 6dB antenna. However this time, in my 80 series, i'm opting to not install a UHF and going to go with a 5W handheld GME TX6150. These are an absolute gem. Minor issue of charging on longer trips. But as...
