Maybe I should wait another four years and sell it off to the USA? They go crazy for diesel and manual Toyota 4X4's??? What makes me laugh is how much would a Defender 110 be worth same age same condition that doesn't have locking centre and rear diff's. Same age Discovery's are about £2000.

I can’t figure out how to upload the underside video. Personally I’d pay for the piece of mind of a solid chassis. Also as for it being a manual going against it I think that’s a personal choice. Especially now that diesel is climbing up again and yes I do need the parking space.

Just a bit of an update on selling the Colorado, not had one phone call or even abusive text message. I can only assume the value of a really good solid D4-D Colorado is not a lot.

The annoying thing is I know I'll never be able to get another one as good, they seem to be disappearing fast because of the chassis rot/value of car.

They are the very best quality, although I ordered grey and they're actually more of a brown. The fit is absolutely perfect. Maybe the import duty isn't as high now we've left the EU?

For some reason they couldn't make the rear fold up seat covers, even though I sent them about 10 photos just of the fold up seats.

The problem with all this has been because there’s so few Colorados left it’s hard to take a look at another one for comparison. I’m sure this thread will help other people in years to come.

That’s what was throwing my mechanic. He thought something was missing because the cable never went through that plate with the holes in mounted to the chassis. I’m away in wales at the moment but when I get home I’ll have a look at the photos on the big computer. Thanks so much.

If your car has been lifted the most important thing to do is get the wheel alignment done as soon as possible as it makes a massive difference.

I pulled the panel down where the fuel flap release is and you can see the small fuse block up underneath. One of the fuses was listed as "seat" on the diagram. It had no fuse in and I used a piggy back fuse with a 10 amp in it. Joined both the heated seat wires together so only had to use one fuse.
