My rear outriggers are shot, rusted through , does anyone know of someone who might fabricate them in the UK? So I can cut off the old and weld on some new ones. Phoned Toyota they don't do them as its part of the chassis.

Hi Sag, I've just purchased a monochrome one couldn't for the life of me find a color one.. Do you know if I need an extra wiring loom to hook itup or is there one straight under the dash ? I was under the assumption it was just plug and play with an existing connector.

Hey Guys, yep had to do SVA test in Jersey as UK had no record of it! Cost £420 on top of the extortionate import duties ... then things went from bad to worse with the car.. one being a cracked cylinder head which is being sorted now.. Hopefully have it next week, what a nightmare!

Hi guys I know this is an old thread but just wondering if there is a clipping mechanism for the gear stick gaiter mine just sits on top. Lift it up and I can see whats shown in the first picture.. Is there anything that holds gaiter in place? Thanks dave

I don't have any of the original import papers the seller didn't supply them. He's the guy on eBay that has 3 prados at the moment. I've called him and he said it must as it has been registered in the UK, but he doesn't have any him self so he's not really being helpful at all.. Just my luck...

Yep not too sure about the gear stick, think its not too bad, excess play rather than excessive, the car is not in Jersey unfortunately, so i would be paying the import duties. I'm looking at around £4,500 all in :icon-sad: The decision is ultimately mine so don't worry, I wont coming knocking...

Its not looking to good, the Mechanic did a thorough check, he sounded like a really good guy who knew his stuff. He mentioned a number of things but the one thing that stood out, is he spotted pretty bad rust around the left rear body mount. He mentioned it may require welding in the future...

Haha does look pretty dodgy! He wants 6,900 for it 2003 with 120,000 miles 120 series, has the leather interior which is a plus but the waxoil is putting me off
