Hi Peter Ive got the 60l twin there a great bit of kit, have setup a 100ah leisure battery in the back, with a ctek split charger and a solar panel seems to work well.

Thanks mate. Last few times I've been away I've used Navmii on my iPad and it's been great and works without, connection as my iPad dosent have it. Shows up most of the tracks but not all. Will try and get your route onto Navmii may be wet winters day project.

Hi Danny well the part was only a couple of quid and if it stops all the crap entering your engine then yes. Only time will tell if a warning light comes on and as i don't drive it much this could be a while.I could always remove it again, I recon it will be ok as its an early model.

Hi Shayne, I think with mine being an early 1kd (2001) it had less sensors than the latter models. like the EGR vale position sensor That the guy at Ozbush was concerned about, so I'm hoping no warnings light will come up down the line. When I look at all the posts on Oz forums they look nothing...

I think the reason for stoping water circulating through the cooler is 1 it's no longer used and 2 they have been known to give up on the inside and leak coolant into the engine, that's my understanding after some reading.

EGR now blocked had to take a few things of to get access, about an hour and a halfs work and the obligatory bad back. Still need to block the water pipes,or connect the 2 on the cooler together, and I think the one that supplies the cooler should be connected to or replace the one that goes...

Really easy to make and good little project. Get yourself an arc welder you'll never look back.
