    coolant leak.

    Unfortunately, you do have to remove the dashboard to service the heater core there is no other way around it. Before jumping to conclusions, I would double check every other possibility.

    into the body, I presume will be 27 ft lbs. That is "seat adjuster" in other words, "seat frame to body."

    No, the weight is there to counter any noise or rattle from the exhaust system. Its purpose is to not move (stationary), therefore if it is floating around as you say, then it is time to (remove) fix it. Omar.
