    An Intercooled KZJ78

I have heard and read about this as well. I guess that is next. Still trying to see how to go about it. Apparently there is something out there which let's you keep the stock pipes and add additional 3 inch one. Thanks for the tip. Will it become really noisy after a 3 inch exhaust.

I understand, I think you just need to try different ecu's . However it could also be something as simple as the AT transmission setting. I notice you are in Pakistan just as me , Private message me your cell no and Maybe we can talk and sort this out. I think we have a mutual friend Hanif...

It sounds like an ecu issue. Which 1KZ te did you get cause this engine comes in surf , prado and Hiace as well. The 1kz te , transmission is controlled via its ecu. ?

Did the light in the instrument Panel Flash or get to solid state. How did he determine that they were not locking. The rear diffs in this model are engaged via electric motor. So It is not a major issue but it would be nice if the owner can get them checked for you . Sometimes the light is...

    Looking for an 80

In My opinion, It does not matter how good a condition is advertised in. The fact is these are all old vehicles, Anyone buying one should be prepared to spend some extra money and time and love for the vehicle to come to your expectations or whatever one feels is a comfortable ride for them...

Does the factory rear diff work?

Hi, I own the same vehicle as you. The light usually blinks when the diffs are being engaged and once they lock the light should turn solid. Basically the blinking light indicates the transition from unlocked to lock . First off I suggest you check your rear diffs by simply jacking up your...

    Top speed

The top speed i ever got from my kzj 78. That is with the 1kz 3.0 td non intercooled was a 135kph . I felt i could go 140kph but i didnt. The 78series is not very aero dynamic ... its a box ...lol. but generally i cruise at 110kph and thats good enough for me . :)
