Thank you for the suggestion... The fluid level is a little elevated and dark. I think I will try to drain and fill the system and reservoir to see if this helps.

I was looking at the power steering on my LC pickup and found that on the PZ diesel the power steering pump is bolted to the block and engine driven. I was wondering if the steering is Power Steering or just Power Assisted where the engine has to speed up to get the fluid moving sufficiently...
