That's what I thought. Does anyone have a part number of the voltage regulator, the writing on mine has rubbed off!

No I didn't forget! Could it be the voltage regulator? The voltage yesterday kept on going up and up, at one point it was at 17v! I disconnected the regulator and obviously had no problems but obviously it won't be charging the battery whilst driving.?

I have been having constant electrical issues recently. The latest is that i actually managed to kill a battery! Horrible egg smell and the battery casing was inflated! I replaced it with a new battery, cleaned the earth terminal and cables then started her up. I then noticed I'm getting over...

*Update* so I have put a piece of clear pipe in between the tank and filter, I did notice that there was air getting in somewhere and the fuel was returning back to the tank when the engine wasn't running. I tightened everything up and things looked better, a small air bubble when the engine...

So where do i put the non return valve? On the pipe to tge engine or on the return to the tank?

But once the car is running, it runs great, if it was fuel related, surely it would run rough?

It's back to its same tricks, do you think it could be the glow plugs even though they tested OK?

So. I have just changed my alternator and I was hoping this would fix this problem but it hasn't! I constantly have the battery light, the filter light, the two turbo lights on and nothing from my rev counter, any ideas??

Just found out that my alternator has died, would this have been part of the problem?

I've tried this and it seems to be fine. Once I finally get the car running, it runs fine. It's just getting it started! Maybe it is the glow plugs???

Thanks Frank, I have a new filler pipe that I haven't bothered installing yet, is it an easy fit? Or do you have to drop the tank?? (really don't want to do that again!!)

As far as the air in the fuel line, bearing in mind I have new pipes going from tank to engine with no joints or connections, I am guessing it is coming from the seal around the fuel pickup?? Or could it be coming from a tank breather pipe??? ?

So the dying injector has blocked the return pipe with shards of material??? Correct nozzles?? How do i find out which ones are correct? Am i better off buying a brand new set?
