Cheers guys. Had rocker cover and rocker assembly off but no signs of anything untoward all looked sweet from what I could make out. Any tips on checking out transmission problems with it off the car. Original garage suggested this was the problem but i am doubtful.

Well engine is locked. Turn 1/8th of a turn then stuck solid. Checking for hydrolock but i think its deceased.
