So after two years the fault has returned
11 ohms at the spill valve, the orange one at the bottom right of the pump.
Fault, eml light and sounds like an Mis fire lots of smoke from cold start, drive the car fault comes and goes, light goes out on its own, back on full power, wiggle the wire...
I’m going to be selling one of my crusiers

Is the truck a 100 series? 4.2 fte engine code have a common problem with the wiring to the fuel pump valve solinoid, it has other names but the wiring loom is too tight and at around 200k ish the pins pull out the plug and cause your fault, I had it on mine, I guy on YouTube has taken his...

So the purpose of this pick up I’m going to build is to drag my sj off-road car about, at the moment I have to strap box’s of spares and equipment to the Trialer, I’d like to able to load up the car a bit more, a lot of the time everything’s covered in mud, so it’s not ideal to put in a cruiser...
I must state this could all go horribly wrong hence why I’m cutting another car first !

I just really like the idea of an auto coil sprung cruiser pick up, on a budget.
So a hilux bulkhead won’t fit as much narrower. The sprinter bulkhead will only be a skin, there’s going to be a tube which runs the whole way around, to get a rolled edge As well as create some strength again, with braces running left to right below the window line and up and down below that...
So I’ve got another 100 I’m going to chop first to make sure I don’t waste my car, to make sure the proportions work and the sprinter bulkhead idea ect works too.
Another thing is if it’s a uk car you’d probably have to go and have it put through a similar test to a kit car, as you’d have moved the suspension mounts on the front, Iva type thing.
I’m breaking a 100 that il have a chassis if you wanted one to chop and have a play with.
I think the 105 and 100 chassis at the front is very different, I could be wrong. I think the 100 is quite a bit wider. Or I might be thinking compared to an 80.
