After spending 3k with maind dealer replacing all pipes last year only to have it empty again after six months I think I am going to have to give up on mine. Downside is that AC also helps a lot with demisting in winter.

Thanks for that mate - that's really useful - gives me a much better idea of the rot scale and feeling a lot better about the one I'm looking at despite the muck. Also had a chat with Freedom 4x4 earlier - extemely helpful guy. Cheers.

Yeah - thinking same - only went for it as tired of searching, advertised as mint FSH etc. Don't really know what I'm looking for under a car (this is the first one I've bought) so been asking around with the pics. Be interesting to see if a Toyota headed letter from a main dealer describes this...

Thanks for the comments all. This should be interesting - shared my concerns with dealer this morning. Vehicle just come back from Toyota getting serviced and MOT'd and their comment is that it is "solid as a rock" and one of the best they've seen! What's more they are happy to put it in writing...

Really appreciate the opinions. Different vehicle - 2006 LC5 129k - 1 owner, FSH, easy garaged life apparently mint on top but not so sure on the underside again. Would you call this clean(ish)? Thanks!

Thanks for the advice guys - vehicle located in Kent - nr Tunbridge Wells I think. I'm in Cornwall and planning to get it shipped as getting there / back a challenge right now. Full main dealer history, not a single mention of corrosion on mot, 2 owners, 105k. I see what you mean about dealers...

About to purchase 2006 120 - dealer has provided some blurry underside photos in response to my request for a view on corrosion (no mention at all in history and MOT clean). Not much to go on I know but would appreciate views on any cause for concern here? Many thanks!
