Brand new Toyota batteries last year … The alarm continued to sound and the immobiliser was doing its job . Cranking over ( very quickly didn’t sound like the batteries were low) but wouldn’t start .

Car been sat a week while I’ve been away . No response from the car when pressing the fob so opened the door with the key . Alarm goes off can’t deactivate it with the fob so pop the bonnet and disconnect the batteries . After a couple of minutes reconnect and all is well ?? Is this a...

When you turn off the ignition press this to disable the interior sensors . You get a flashing red symbol on the dash to warn you it’s activated

4x4 diesel on YouTube . Anthony seems to know the crack . Bit of a leap of faith but does exactly what I want ( code injectors / gearbox temp for oil change etc etc ) Takes a few seconds when you move between sub menus but otherwise all good .

Took the plunge and bought the Vident . £116 with a discount code from OBD2shop.co.uk Bit concerned it was coming from abroad … but turned up quickly , easy to set up and reads all data on my car . Happy with it !

Cheers for the info , No nothing too extreme off-road . More of an overland type trip with the odd forest track . What sort of mileage are you getting from a set of GO15’s ? And Have you had a tyre failure off-road with them ?

Folks , Heading to Norway in March and understand I need to have winter tyres fitted by law . Seem thin on the ground on the tinternet .. Any recommendations for a supplier and a reasonably priced winter tyre ? Happy new year
