What’s going up in power size like for a petrol auto?

I run 33's, the speedo now reads accurately. No complaints on how it drives. Drinks fuel as always

    handbrake

First, check your equaliser isn't seized, if it is you'll only be getting hand brake to one wheel. Having said that, I replaced my entire hand brake mechanism: Shoes, fitting kit, bell cranks, cable, equaliser - Adjusted everything as per FSM spec. It only just scraped through the MOT... So I...

Decent rebuild video here There are also new boxes on Ali Express for cheap - but they're probably junk. Won't let me link

Vague steering, worn shaft? Stronger shaft upgrade?

I was watching this the other night, I still don't understand what's going on with those ball bearings but I'm sure it's fairly obvious once you get into it. If the adjuster screw doesn't do anything I'd be looking at this approach:

    The “rattle” hunt……

I was chasing weird noises from the back, squeaks and thuds. Turned out to be the spare wheel moving about inside the well. Tightened up the carrier winch thing tight AF and noises went away

    High Lambda MOT Failure FZJ80

Just to update this, new Lambda fixed my lean running issue Removed the old one with heat so as not to shear the studs. Cleaned up the threads with a die, fitted a new Denso unit. It's all good

    Mud flaps

MOT requires that the tyre doesn't extend beyond the body of the vehicle, so as long as you tick that box you're all good I deleted my steps with no plans to put them back on, but still havent found a decent solution for front mud flaps without the cutouts

    LED Headlights.

A lot of these ebay headlamps are set up for vehicles that drive on the right so will dazzle oncoming traffic, and all the feedback I've heard is that quality is universally poor There are some decent LED units for the Australian market but you'd have to convert to the square x 4 headlamps that...

    Soft brake pedal

80 series brake boosters do go bad, and have been implicated in soft pedal issues. I considered it might have been my issue. OEM is pretty much impossible to find. Soft brake pedal

I tried your technique but wasn't terribly impressed by the results. I recommend triggering it electrically If the MC is the only thing you haven't changed, then it seems sensible to swap that as well

    High Lambda MOT Failure FZJ80

Failed MOT with high lambda on the emissions test. This means it's running lean. Common explanation of this is an exhaust leak, but I haven't detected one. It's only 10% over, so unlikely to be a duff lambda sensor. Anyone had experience of this with an FZJ80? Thanks in advance

    Soft brake pedal

New callipers all round fixed mine, I also changed the LSPV arm/lever which was seized. Might be worth looking at if you haven't changed it. Pedal still a bit mushy, but doesn't sink to the floor any more and stops good. If the ABS "brain" has air in it, you will need to actuate ABS while...

    Front Axle Rebuild

I was getting weird noises from the front. Pretty sure now that it was my brake rotor shield dropping bits of rust into the brakes, but I tore down the whole axle anyway. Front Axle Rebuild

Today, I took the knuckle back off. Axle went straight in. Knuckle fits back on over the CV "nae bother" as they say round these parts. So problem solved. My repeated attempts to fit have damaged the oil seal, but luckily I have a spare. So I'll fit that and I would expect reassembly to be...
