I was thinkin the same thing,but i have towed bigger motors with a 95 auto before with no problems,only thing was the 95 was being cooled with the radiator.

Roger,The cooler is a 13 row and it is fitted in the worst place possible,in front of the radiator just behind the front number plate,I drove 250 miles down with a twin wheel trailer and all was good.

Primed the fuel this morning before i tried to start it,,seamed to start a lot better,not sure if it was the priming or it was because it was in a warm garage all night. will leave it out tonight and prime the pump again tomorrow morning. Checked fuel lines up to tank today and all look really...

Will try this first thing tomorrow,, I removed all the glow plugs and tested them one at a time on a battery,,,,,,,they all glowed at the tip.

Is this on the heater plugs ?if it is then yes i have power on all four

Thanks chris,pipes on the tank are like new,in fact there is not even a rusty bolt on the vehicle,dont know where it has been kept all its life but it wasent Scotland.

Having problems starting the 90 series,it turns over fast enough but does not fire up without a lot of turning....changed the fuel filter,removed and checked the four heater plugs,all working as they should. The LC runs great when started pulls really well no problems there,,will start when warm...

The DL switch will only lock the rear diff,if the light is flashing then it is not engaging.this can be siezed with lack of use or corroded. the rear difflock wil not make any difference to your four wheel drive,,any 4x4 that has a two wheel drive option usually dosent have a centre diff

I just fitted a mirror glass in mine and as Silvercruiser says you just pull it out at the bottom and lift it up off the top locators

The ATF would heat itself from cold,lots of other vehicles come with factory fitted separate oil coolers.Some just have a pipe across the front of the vehicle for a cooler.

I have a Prado with two reversing lights,i removed the offside one and used it for a fog light.(fitted a led red bulb) there is no lights in the bumper of the prado.

Thats what i done,fitted a length of pipe to cap the ends.

This is what i done ,,i bypassed the radiator,fitted a separate cooler.

My answer is to keep the oil in one place and the water in another,that way there will be no mixing. If the radiator goes then replace it with a manual one. even changing a radiator, it could become faulty and mix the fluids,best to keep them separate..

and a lot less money than a new radiator

Fit an external oil cooler and then you wont be waiting to see if the combined one goes wrong.

Have you tryed Dalcrue in Perth ??

I thought that if i removed it from the radiator there was no chance of any problems with oil and water mixing.
