It is good stuff that and saved us a few times. We originally had a load on the ceiling to store stuff but it didn't really work. I got it from Paul at Footloose 4x4 but I've seen it in army surplus stores
I like the roofrack and it might be the angle as it does look fine on it. You're probably right about the stickers though so I might do something about them. I intended to sell it through Paul at Footloose but just wanted an idea before I went to him. Few people have mentioned about wheel...
OK thanks for that. I'm a realist and I know you never get back what you pay for these things so happy with the figures being quoted. The heartbreaking thing is letting her go. Thanks for your thoughts
Hi guys
Any ideas as to what rough sort of figure I should be putting this up for? Any further info I need to add? I can no longer subject it to the humiliation of the school run.
Thanks in advance - thoughts appreciated.

OK - might be a very stupid question but what wheel nuts do I need for my 2001 Amazon 4.2TDA GX (HDJ100N)? Can't see anything specifically on here so I think I'm being a plum. Thread size? Pitch? Seat type? And anyone recommend a place to get them without paying Toyota prices?
Thx for your help...
OK I know fuel consumption has been done to death but this a specific 100 series question.

China 2008 - New BFG All Terrains. Patriot Roofrack with reasonably chunky Roofbox and fully fully laden including 40 litres of water, 40 litres of fuel in Jerry Cans...
Good memory Mr V!!! Yes just checked as well - you did do that! You should do this car lark for a living I tell you! No symptoms of anything dodgy at all to be honest. Greg at Landcruisers Overland has been working on it and he didn't notice anything dodgy either. Thought I would risk it and can...
I hadn't done since I got it (2008)! Have kept it topped up but not emptied it. Had new actuator fitted and that's all. OK answer I wanted to - thanks Andrew.
Drained the front and rear diff today and front diff fine but the drain plug on the rear diff was coated with thick lumps of the dready muddy silvery almost mercury looking sludge with a few small bits of metal in there. Have done a fair bit of wading I suppose but do have raised breathers on...
Much appreciate that - very re-assuring. Havent driven it since but only noticed the clicking/whirring noise after I started it and it was all fine. Ok will pop out the fuel filter and see if that makes a difference - might have been a spare I picked up in China so will check. Thx again
Out of my depth again!
2001 Amazon 4.2L TDA 100 series (HDJ100) on 140k (rebuilt engine) and all been fine in terms of running. 4k miles to Morocco and back in March was fine. Ok so the big end went in Thailand but that was 2.5 years ago and I've moved on. Not been doing too much driving in it...
Yes you may! There were many things I learnt about recovery out there and driving on peaky dunes (as opposed to normal dunes where the peaks are considerably more spread out) and that was one of them! You are right. Some local tribesmen had something very similar and helped us out at one point...
Have managed to trim it down to less than 10 mins for YouTube! Got stuck in the sand a lot and wished my rear-diff was working!

Cheers for all your help with this Ian. Did need it in Morocco in the desert when i got stuck and all the power went to the rear nearside wheel with the least resistance - frustrating as I had a load of grip on the rear offside. Keen to get this fixed and, as Ian says, I haven't a clue. Anyone...
