Hi I changed the master cylinder 18 months ago as it failed and also renewed the slave cylinder. Put a new clutch in last year too. The master cylinder has failed again, it was a Milners replacement, looks like the inner seal/rubber has been damaged or worn in one place. Thinking about putting...

Thanks, got a refurb kit with full set of oem bearings on their way, gasket, seal etc... Cost me €270 though. Any tips on replacing them and measuring backlash!

Had a leak on the front of the diff which is more than just a seal and a fair bit of play. Took diff out yesterday and it's clean with no metal bits, crown and pinion seem fine. it looks like the front pinion bearing is foo barred, can't tell until I press it out but 99% sure it's that...

Found and collected an 80 series! Well happy :icon-biggrin: 1997 - P reg 4.2 diesel, manual 24 valve, VX, OME springs & shocks Detachable 'Goodwinch' with dyneema rope Came with a second set of wheels & BFG AT's If I took the roof rack off I reckon it would fit in the garage too :)

You should be able to amend the booking.... Even if it's for much later in the year ;) you can certainly amend the vehicle! It will say on the ticket or email print out:icon-wink:

Thanks everyone! My 70 series is RHD and not an issue really... Found a tidy 80 series but RHD again si going to take a very closer look next week! Local prices here are over double for the same vehicle!

I take it it's the white one for my KZJ70 ? Maybe easier than going to Toyota and then back again if they don't have it in stock!

Now moved to France! Not many lhd ones around the UK and prices here are way too much! So uk spec one it will be! Been keeping an eye on the bay, some there but also this one which is very clean but a bit overpriced? Your thoughts...

Cheers! I've looked at the prices there :shock: So maybe one from the UK would be better! Left hand drive may be difficult to find but there cant be that much demand for one here? I'm only heading to Arras so within easy reach of the UK to pop back! In no rush so can wait for the right one :wtf:

I'm moving to France soon so an 80 series is in order! Looking for a left hooker as it will mainly be used over there. Prefer manual, diesel and the latest one so 95/96? :icon-biggrin: Anything else I need to keep an eye out for apart from the obvious in other posts? Thought a lefty from the UK...

Due to the success of last year's 4x4 WW1 battlefield tour, we're doing it again! The main route will take us on roads and tracks past some of the most significant monuments, memorials and cemeteries of The Battle of the Somme. The forces involved had suffered more than 1 million casualties...

Powerflow was best part of £500 but not regretted it!

Yes, I have a set of the hex sockets... The 24 was too big and a 23 too small as the plug has corroded over time ;) so the 15/16ths was a perfect fit, I've also ground it down to remove the bevel so gets a better grip. Will go and get some new ones anyway as 1 is completely rounded off.
