As it happens my new set of tyres should be arriving tommorrw a set of the simex reps at quite a good price, hoping to try them out on the next lanning trip :thumbup:

I have snap on and blue point tools and the blue point are good and the garantee is exactly the same.the dealer in are area is very good and will replace them with no problems and we have abused some tools.i would recomend blue point the sets when on offer are very well priced
Thought i reconised that 80.you have a good truck there it suprised me where it could go with no lockers.
I think i remembere how that watwer got in to the headlights :lol:

I have had a few issues with fuel running back which turned out to be the primer pump on the filter housing.toyota wanted £117+vat so i got the universal pump and filter like the type on fords.I could only get 10mm adapters for the filter housing so just usded a couple of plastic joints...

I had a bit of trouble with front bearing on the way to recover karl this is what i found
there was no warning that anything was wrong no steering issues or noise just seized and took me in to the hard shoulder.karl had only tightened the bearing up bout 500 miles before.i even got away with...
I took the locker out of my petrol 80 had a right job getting the top bolts out even my extracters rounded the heads off.even ended up weldind a bigger nut on to the bolts did the job the heat from welding helped aswell
As karl posted im deff up for going on this one we have been trying to go for ages now.would prefer to go in my own truck if poss after all someones got to tow karl home.
Another lucky escape this one could of been alot worse but atleast it worked out ok i,t was quite interesting loading a 3 wheeled cruiser on to the trailer.it made my mind up not to fit any spacers now
