in the pics you can see both spacers, they are on end in pic 4 one silver 15mm one goldy colour 10mm, i whent straight in and fitted the 15mm silver ones so have the others if you want them your welcome to try them, although you may well need the 15mm ones yourself.

it has a towbar so thats possible, if you look at the top pic you can see the old rear springs on the bench in the background they are blue. the shocks where a sort of purple colour.

Think i may have confused you with some of the wording :oops: The KYB shocks and springs from the back where standard length as the new iron man are longer, the reason the back sat higher was that the original fronts where sagged that much you could hardly get a finger between the bumpstops...

I thought the very same last year but the rear where KYB and the front where toyota, also no paperwork for fronts in the folder that came with the car. It was nice to hear that more people had the same problem with little or no lift and i was ready to call it a day and order a different kit...

Thats strange as when i asked the same question a year ago i was told never heard of this happening before, mabe this is going to be another reacuring problem, ive now had two colorados that have had the very same problem although my last one also had holes in the spring mounting plates aswell...

well i would rather just fit the whole axle as the diff wines a fair bit and leaks oil, i dare say i could just rebuild my own diff then build into the good caseing. bit more costly but i suppose its that or wait for the axle to fall out :D thats not a bad idea :think:

After looking about for months one apears after i start this thread :roll: I have mailed stephoil and he has no idea what the diff ratio is as the shell is scraped. What are the chances of the short wheel base colorado haveing the same diff ratio as my LWB. is there another way of checking...

As per title i need a back axle due to rot in the top mounting brackets :( I welded up my last collorado axle as it suffered the same problem but this one is far worse and not really worth the bother. Anyone know of someone breaking a collorado or have an axle sitting idle in the garage ;)

I am not overlly happy with my ironman kit :( in under a year the shocks and springs have rust and paint flakeing off and look as if ive removed them from an old scrapper :shock: the rear shock rubber mounting bushes are all perished and split aswell not what i was expecting in under a year...

Any more thoughts on this :thumbup:

Pic as promised, as you can see theres not much space between the bumpstop and the chassis compared to some of your other pics on here. and here is the top with no spring showing between the top wishbone and chassis mounting point.

The only part that was reused was the topcap the ironman Sl came in a full kit same as i think sae70 posted a pic of :think: the part no,s where the same as posted on here and the new springs are shorter than the old ones i removed, it does mention this in the paperwork that came with the kit...

Yeh i would agree with you on them being softer, On the road when entering a corner mine lurches over quite a bit before what can only be described as a hitting the bumpstop feeling when it firms up. It reminds me of the old horible rangerover air suspension feel :shock:

yup key went for a swim too, resetting key? wasnt sure that was possible as i only have one standard key. the ignition barrel and the ring seem to be dry and have had the wd40 treatment but will have another look the morn incase ive missed something.
