Local dealers in Kent not very good, tend to forget to do things even when its in the service...

    Towbar Electrics

Hi, 120 isn't CANBUS, just old school electrics. Has it actually been tested on a proper lighting board or caravan/trailer as the testers aren't particularly good and cause issues due to them being fitted with LED's and not appropriate wattage bulbs. Well documented when introduced as part of...

    TNS510 wiring.

If you look at this link on the toyota owners forum, they've fitted a TNS510 to a LC120 and there are a couple of PDF's for the wiring. Hope it helps. http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/138697-touch-go-16-28-pin-connections-fyi/

Tow Bar and dare I say..... Bike Rack

PF Jones do a westfalia removable towbar as well as several others. Its very similar to the Toyota one to the point of just being rebadged. They also do tow bar wiring kits in plug and play style as well. Not sure on prices but when i bought my westfalia from them they were the cheapest about...

Thoughts on using this stuff to make rear drawers

The fittings we used were caused speed fit i think, RS components was one supplier and i've seen them on ebay, either aluminium or plastic. Some need a plastic collar which helps finish off the end and acts as a wedge to keep it all together.

Thoughts on using this stuff to make rear drawers

In the past we've used similar fittings, very strong and a very good fit. If you were concerned about the joints coming apart you can drill through the tube and fitting (all the way through) and fit a roll pin in each join. The only way it will come apart then is to remove the roll pin

Wanted-- Roof rails for Lc4 120

Hi it is possible that a part from another vehicle may fit, i've noticed that the front roof rail cap from either a avensis tourer (not current model) or a peugeot 407 estate look very similar, might be worth a visit to a dealer with a tape measure or a breakers with the broken bit and see if it...

    Aircon problem

On a hot day after about 20-30 minutes of running my zircon starts to slowly warm up and increase fan speed to try and compensate. Then at least one of the vents start to pump out what looks like white smoke or dry ice. I've checked the level of refrigerant with a gauge which seems to be fine...

    oil pressure gauge

Hi, thread is 1/8" BSPT, i was able to confirm this with the part no. and searching the net with this to find the original manufacturers website and thread size. I have a copy of the genuine Toyota manual which i used to see if any other 'holes' could be used but didn't appear to. The Tee i...

    oil pressure gauge

Hi Crispin that was me with the silver LC. I did it in the end by unscrewing the original oil pressure sensor and fitting a short hose and a t joint. It worked really well but i could also have done it with a VDO gauge and sensor. The VDO sensor would have allowed me to bin the original sensor...
