I thought that chain's gauge looked a bit bigger than those on eBay. Can you tell us what gauge the chain is, where they were bought, and cost?

Thanks Andrew, but those chains look OK for road tyres, but I can see them disappear in my M&S profiles on the Cooper ST's. Besides, they won't ship to SA.

Dave, diesel doesn't exhibit the same problem, because it has a vapour pressure of +62°C, and an even higher RVP.

Andrew, I used white epoxy rims with those 15" tyres. I did have to grind off about 2mm from the front brake calipers to get them on. Even then, when driving loose terrain, I often end up with a horrible noise when gravel gets stuck between the rim and caliper. I would not know how 15" mags...
