That grease nipple looks well used! One of the jeep ones went like that a few years back and had "a bit of play" in it! You should've put some grease in it to see if it helped before changing it :D :lol: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Re-seat the valves, a bit on honing on the head, and some araldite on the piston I reckon :twisted: Last time I saw a piston like that it was on a 50cc trials bike that the 2 stroke oil mix line blocked on.... the head split in two with that (and I fell off)!

Taking the 90 down to LC Overland today for some work and she developed an interesting trait..... Been running for about an hour no issues, initial sign was the radio "resetting", then turning itself off for a few seconds, after this, the cruise control started cutting out and momentary power...

Been there, done that, was shat.... and when I popped the tyre off the rim, I took them all out again. Might be okay on a road tyre, but anything that needs a bit of weight and there is just not enough in there without spending a fortune. If your tyre is only maybe 5g out then these will help.

been doing it this way for years.... used to work for a ferry company so over there a hell of a lot back then. found it far more acurate than some of these "beam benders" and alike you can get that seem to dazzle everyone rather than just the french. but.... be prepared for tape in odd places...

Screw on 70/30 gas cans, I usually carry a big one for in the tent, and the small one that fits inside for on the road. Wonderful bit of kit and worth the wonga

Personally, after having one on the jeep, I would stick to the vc fan, especially with a winch! Only downside is water splashes about when wading, but vc fan is far more effective, and doesn't draw 70a just when you don't need it to! I would consider fitting a kenlowe as an aux fan for...

I have used both. for brushing on/off, i found little difference. For soaking / swilling parts, gunk seems to works a lot better for me. Also, you can water down gunk, Never bothered to try an water down diesel :shifty: my main use of diseasal before was pushbike chains and bearings...

it was the two rear bolts, I had to pull the plastic side trims back in the boot to get to replace the bolts.... should've undone them more, but never figured they would be as sharp as they were. I ended up on that end after the edge cut the youngests hand trying to hold the ratched on the top...

Looking to replace the D light in the dash and wondered at putting LED bulbs in there ? I see it's a "sub Minature 12v" bulb and that the yellow ones are needed for brightness. is that going to cause me an issue with looking at LEDs? I would replace all of them in one go, not just the D one...

Just an update on this one... The 255/85s are on, had to remove the mudflaps at the front as very slight rubbing. Not heard back from Greg, will need to chase him up when I have a moment.... Had the tyre mount modded to the left about 20mm, then packed it out about 20mm and the tyre sits on...

The big downside to android for me was getting hold of updates. you only seem to get 1 or 2 updates before the phone is considered obsolete and they don't release a newer version for it. not such a big problem with V2, but you'll still be annoyed that you can't have the latest updates after 6...
