    Are homemade tow bars still legal? I was sure I read somewhere about the use of homemades and second hand ones not being allowed any more. I may be wrong but my local breakers will not sell them anymore they are skipping them, don't know if it's connected????? :think:

    a friend of mine uses a small amount of hydraulic oil in his diesels and has done for a while, he says he noticed the differance right away. mind you he also ran a golf on celly thinners for a while when he was skint! :shifty:

    Air Mattresses

    Mines a double, don't know the make but it's about 4 inches thick and a little thicker at the pillows end and I use a 12v pump. Fantastically comfy jar put as much air in it as you like, and it wasn't expensive from riversway leisure.

    just wondered if anyone has removed their roof rails and what i can expect to find when i take them off? ive just bought a roof rack and it seems to be sitting a little high so the plan is to alter the legs and drop it down but will i just be left with 4 bolt holes to fill in?

    my advice is this.....spend a little more because you only get what you can pay for.. miller is very very good, kempi not bad either... dont know if miller do a 240volt mig but it would be worth looking into, even a second hand one would be good if it was clean and tidy as spares are easy. size...

    ive just bought one too! always had one in my wagons and wouldnt leave unless it was on, saved my licence a few times too. got mine off fleebay, brand new in the box but listed as used, Midland 80 channel, £25.......... need to get it fitted and hopefully its a bargain!
