I have done the 1HZ H55 swap into the LJ body. You need the front frame fender mounts from the bj to fit the front clip. it is a bolt on. The hz fits perfectly into the larger engine bay. The 2 bodies mount exactly the same. swap away. Although I like the coils much better. Enjoy and post up pics

Transfer all the monuts from coil to leaf. Front can not be done unless 1990 and newer with 80 series center bolted in ... no advantage over your front now. Tcase will work fine.

if you split the rad then you have an issue that had been there before the rad cracked. pull the head and you will find cracks between the valves. typical issue with the dreaded 2LT engines.

wire size. longer the run, larger the wire.

To test. Change filter. Fill new filter with seafood cleaner. Run small jerry can with fresh diesel feeding fuel filter. If still an issue then you have a pump issue. If runs well you have a fuel tank . Fuel line issue.
