So there was a 10kg per wheel and tyre saving to be had. I was aware that the oem steels were super heavy so wasn't expecting it.
Onto my next question what colour to paint the alloys?
Black
Silver
Grey
Other please very open to suggestions.
So I have gone from 315 70 17 bfg ats on steel aftermarket rims to 315 75 16 on 80 alloys.
What do you think the difference in weight per wheel tyre unit?
I have 5 285 75 16 Cooper st maxx.
Great tyres 1x has has a professional punture repair but in the center of the tread.
Min tread id say is 8mm all wearing nice and evenly.
£250 before they go out to market for more.
So I have a set of oem 80 alloys to go on my 80. With the tapered type nut. Is this the same as my steel wheel tapered type nut?
Black wheel is steel and grey is alloy.
I suppose what I want to know is do I need new nuts and if so please can someone link me a set as I tried a dude on ebay...
Thats a very odd problem. Looks like a fault in the belt manufacturer to me. Or has the engine seized to cause the belt to shred its teeth. Worth getting receipt and speaking with Mr toyota
Sounds a bit smelly i get you would have a bigger market from the campers but surely if the show was combined anyway. Would being a sole camper show attract sellers better?
1- Gav Mel and kids
2- jon Alf and ( The kling ons?)
3- Andy Maria and pip
4-James and Amy (that's right he's abandoned me now) :openmouth:
5- Nick
6- Stu
Has any one got a gpx route they have done and wouldn't mind sharing please.
I expect I will run it as a non profit club event some time next year.
Thanks in advance
Does it have a airflow meter or something similar? I have had problems on similar age golfs where the afm needs a clean. Also problem with a vaccum line having a slight crack that closed up with more pressure
