I think cars need to be used for what they are intended, some will do long term preservation etc but end of the day, if it ticks your box - it's all good. A great aspect to consider is that some people will pursue a lower milage vehicle, while others won't touch a car that's not been used enough.

In the US I guess you are getting the gas version (petrol?) with the hybrid engine ?

A small voltmeter wired in will help keep an eye on the alternator doing it's thing. You are more likely to have a parasitic leak somewhere. Even simple things like corrosion on the negative strap can have some wild and wonderful challenges.

When you turn on the ignition the car dies everything it needs to, and let's you know via the dash lights that is ready to go. At which point you start it. And leave. Just drive it. It's what it's there for. Maybe... be sympathetic to the conditions and intent.

I am not sure there is huge demand. There is some, in a few corners. And maybe a few specialist builders will do something, but by and large that boat has sailed. The Grenadier was meant to be such a thing, and even they have gone to a more middle ground posture just to try do something.

To answer your question, if it's driving ok - 90% chance you have no long term problem. With the injectors you need to think pipes and bits too. Lots of info about that on here. Two years ago I had the same (or similar ?) issue. Scv change, maf and mas filter clear out, injector change (refurbs...

My original battery pair in the 120 did 10 years. So they may well be the pair the car was born with.
