I chose the electroplated option. The silver paint was cheaper. For a few quid more there was a choice of many colours too. My dust shields were beyond repair too. Don't think they are vital. The electroplated option was the longest turnaround.

my white 1997 one had twin black lines on. I think they were after market. I took them off and it looks far better without. Pinstripes are a bit 1990's. Before you buy any Codsey I would take yours off (hot water or hairdryer makes it very easy) and see what you think without them

Crikey - Swiss efficiency, Ordered on 4th arrived today, 11th! The snorkel seems very sturdy and the fixings look reasonable quality too. i went for the cyclonic head too. Snorkel £71.05 delivered, head £24.75.

Recently removed Appears to be rust/ damage free. I think it breaks down for postage purposes. Does £50.00 sound reasonable?

I have just removed the OEM roof rack off the Great White and thought I would share a few pics. This is not, I repeat NOT a shameless link to the items for sale section.... The roof liner on the later 80's is a solid sheet of hardboard and is easy to take down. The rack has 6 fixing points...

Bushpig - speak to Simon at Simon Eagle Toyota for the lock tumbler. He got me a drivers door complete lock keyed to mine. I can't recall exact price but it was around £35.00 and took about 3 days - i was gobsmacked!
