Hi Bob , Yes it is an I6, and I do mean the automatic gearbox , as I did not know that the gearbox oil need to be changed every 20,000 km, my automatic gearbox was damaged and need to be replaced. Now it cost like 2,500$ here , I was trying to search on the net If there is a better solution...

I own a 2001 50th anniversary land cruiser v6 . Seems that the gear is damaged as per my mechanic. The price of the gear would be like more than a 2500$ , is there any alternative gear ? Or Is there a cost effective gear and engine alternative ?
