Could someone kindly explain (or point to an explanation) for how the Turbo Pressure Sensor (3) works in conjunction with the VSV (5).
Since there is no ECU, I thought that the TPS only controls the overboost light on the dash. But since it's paired to a VSV via a damper, is it the case that when overboost is detected, VSV is activated to bleed the extra pressure from the line, which also goes to the boost compensator on the fuel pump, and thus prevents a further increase in fuel supply?
