G'day all, 1st time posting on here so bear with me! I'm a mechanic of 13 years and am currently based on a farm in central Queensland. Just recently the drivers side rear wheel locked up on me. I nursed it back to the shed and stripped it down to have a look. Removed the hub nut which was extremely tight and attempted to remove the hub but she wouldn't come! On closer inspection I noticed the locking ring (that the hub nut locks to) has shifted around 180 degrees and the retaining screws have both sheared. Without turning it back around I'm unable to remove the hub to replace the bearings or do anything for that matter! I've tried tapping it around and refitting the hub nut with replacement retaining screws to turn it to its original position to no avail. Just wondering if anyone's had this before and if so how they've overcome it! The only other option is to get it trailered to town! Any help or suggestions appreciated!
