I am new to the club. Recently purchased a Japanese Import - 2016 LC200 ZX Petrol. it has AHC.
I am planning a few upgrades to it, which are:
1. Rhino bullbar and winch. Or ARB bar and winch.
2. Snorkel
3. Rock sliders
4. Rear bar with tyre carrier
5. Bigger tyres - either AT or MTC.
To fit the bigger tyres and for the general aggressive look I want to get around a 2” lift. I have been searching on the best way to do this given that the car has AHC fitted. There are some places that say they can do it but the general advice I have had is not to remove the AHC as it will mess up the car.
So I have 2 questions:
1. Has anyone removed AHC successfully and fitted an after market system like OME BP-51 on a 2016 or similar LC-200?
2. If it is not advisable to change the system can I still add the modifications I want and stay with the AHC? I have heard there is the option to programme the AHC to correct/ raise the height once the items are fitted.
Any thoughts and advice would be massively appreciated.
