About three days ago noticed high pitched chirp noise coming from passenger footwell area. Happens only at the bottom end of revs - pulling away from standing in second or pulling away from low revs in any gear - under strong load.
Thought it might be the power steering pump but checked that this morning and it sounds ok.
From the engine bay very brief chirp when you blip the throttle seems to be coming from top end or possibly the rear of engine. Disappears at higher revs. Could be coming from lower down and being reflected up by the bulkhead?
Can anyone help with diagnosis? Thanks
Dan
