Hey everyone,
My name is Wayde.
I have a 1993 Totyota Landcruiser 75 series 4.5 Litre petrol with a 1FZ-FE motor. I've put new injectors in. new gaskets in the manifold, and every time I put the throttle down and increase the revs, it sounds as though it is sucking air or starving for fuel. When I put the throttle down slowly, it has all of its power. I've double checked the timing, checked the gaskets to see if they are leaking with spraying 'start you bastard' around the seals to see if it gets sucked in. It still feels as though it is sucking air or not getting enough fuel. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong?

Did you bleed the injector pipes? Did you spray start you bastard around injector seat seals? Sounds like fuel starvation of as you say air getting in

Thanks for the response so quickly. It is a petrol motor so it doesn't have injector pipes. but yes I did spray around the injector seat seals.

Is there a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail? Is the vac line connected to it, or is the vac line leaking else where?
