I have a 1982 Fj45 from NSW Australia and it is a real bad radiator that needs to be replace. Found out that the radiator is not the 22" wide standard 40 series but is 23.5" wide as is the core support, it was mad to accommodate a A/C set up. Apparently they installed them in most all 45s even if they did not have A/C. So I have been looking to see if the radiator is still available.
Anyone on were or to buy chime in thanks.
I am in the US right now.

Cheers

Well being in the USA I would have thought that you can have one built for you or they might have a core ready made in your required size and with a choice of copper or aluminium give your local speed shop a visit they should be able to sort you out or point you in the right direction to a radiator specialist

Yes I would of thought also that I could have one made but as of now and after contacting three of the primer radiators shops in the US, none have even returned anything. Not that easy trust me seems as no one localy eve wants to work with me on this, so looking for new.

www.megastore4x4.pt do radiator rebuilds although only listed for BJs but worth contacting them as they speak English and are extremely helpful. They are based near Lisbon.

Great photo!

That is bloody sad always thought the US was customer based and would bend over backwards to help a suggestion if there is a breakers near you would a rad from a Toyota people carrier get you out of trouble until you get sorted

I'll give them a look up. Yes one would think so but when you say Toyota instead of Dodge or Chevy they tend to shy away.
Cheers

Although I haven't checked but it is worth checking out www.sor.com as they are based in the US and specialise in 40s.
