East and South Africa

Hey everyone, I'm wondering if any of the traveller here have any advice on getting around/overlanding/extended travelling on this part of Africa. Me and the family are taking a flight to Kenya while our car make its way in the container across the sea. Since this will be our first time doing this and also being in Africa, we thought it will be great to have any tips/advice from those who might have done it more times than us. Any information will be great additions to all the research that we've done so far. Cheers!
