ebay swingout spare wheel holder

further to the DIY swingout spare wheel holder thread, has anyone tried using one of these?

I'm pretty sure that Jon Wildsmith used one of these on his hundee... There was a bit of jiggeree pokeree to get it on but it works fine as I can testify from the Pyrenees trip

The one on my 100 came from them and also the one I fitted to the red car for Ian. I did post about the 80 install but I can't find that thread now. Main thing you need extra is some plates to go inside the body work. It's possible to get the OEM lower plate but you have to cut one of the interior panels to fit it and then weld up again, or just bend some 6mm plate which you'll have to do for the top anyway.
