Hi all,

Im new to this forum but have been in a few other 90 forums and own two 90 series LC's.

Im Looking to take the engine and transmission out of a 2000 KZJ95 (auto) TD parts car. Just wondering if anyone has any experience doing this and can advise on areas such as order of removal, any tricky bolts to get too or often don't want to budge and what needs to be drained (Power steering, AC etc). The plan is to strip down the whole car eventually then shift the shell.

My current plan of attack it to remove driveshafts (Front and rear) from the transfer case. Remove the transfer case and adaptor. Remove gearbox. Take apart engine bay and remove engine out the top. At some point the front diff will come out too.

I dont have access to a ramp or air tools so this will be done on axle stands and with cordless impact wrench and good old hand tools.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Ben.
